Since returning from the Easter break, 1st class has been busy learning about the Zoo. We have read a very interesting book by Anthony Brown called Zoo and even had some visits from some Zoo animals in drama.
We have looked at a famous artist called Franz Marc. His nickname is the painter of animals. He draws and paints animals based on what kind of creature they are on the inside. First class coloured some of his work, as well as sketching and painting their own creatures in his style.
We have been busy doing Zippy’s friends in our SPHE. Pupils have become very good at naming their feelings and learning about how to speak and communicate with others.
