Welcome back to all our Senior Infants for their final term of this school year. We have a busy last term ahead so keep up to date every week by checking out our class blog. We are going to make a special effort to come to school on time and remember to put into practice our slogan: “20 Past Nine—–In Your Line”.
This week we welcomed Sr. Julia from Mexico to our classroom. She really enjoyed observing our Maths Activities and listening to some filíocht as Gaeilge. We wish her a safe trip back.
We are also busy preparing for our new Aistear theme “The Spring Garden”. We have lots of exciting activities planned in each area so log in next week for further updates. We are also learning about “Our Parish” this month and Sr Catherine has invited Senior Infants to visit the church beside Madonna House next Tuesday morning. We are very excited!
Well done to Senior Infants, Mums and Dads who always make a fantastic effort in helping our school receive our 7th Green Flag. This is a wonderful achievement and well done especially to the Green Schools Committe and Ms. Finucane for all their hard work. We are also working towards our first Active Flag and looking forward to our Active Schools Week activities. Keep up the good work and remember our Active School slogan:
