We have all settled back into school and busy enjoying lots of activities. We really enjoyed our special visit to the chapel in Madonna House with Sr. Catherine. We saw the altar, the holy water font, the paschal candle, the crucifix, the stained-glass window and the bible. We said a special prayer for everyone in our local community.
Active School Week is approaching. It will start on Monday and the girls are very excited about the variety of activities planned and being able to wear their tracksuits all week.We will begin every morning with the Walkway Challenge at 9.10am and we would encourage as many parents as possible to take part. What a fun way to start our day! We will be visiting the GAA pitch on Monday for lots of fun activities and break time will be extended for an extra ten minutes to allow for extra active activities. Active homework also replaces written homework all week. A big thank you to Miss Anderson and the Active School Committee for all their organisation and hard work.
