We all enjoyed the fine weather during the long weekend and we have a very short week this week.
We are busy preparing for Green School’s Day of Action next Tuesday. Our energy related theme is all about the energy we get from food. We will be giving very sound advice about reading food labels, reducing portion size, the dangers of too much salt BUT the most important message that we will be giving is : there is no such thing as a bad food, and food is there to be enjoyed, but awareness will help us to make healthier food choices and live longer , healthier lives!
We planted in our lettuce and spinach. We will also sew some basil in school to bring home.
We saw capillary action happen with flowers we drew.
We hope the fine weather will last a little longer.
