This seemed like a particularly short school week.
On Tuesday morning we had our Communion photographs taken. We all looked amazing! Most girls went home early, and by 3 o’clock, only 9 girls were left in school
Ms Finucane went to Kilkenny on Tuesday for our 7 Green Flag. We are delighted to get it . A lot of hard work is done by everybody throughout the school and we hope it also makes a difference at home
On Wednesday , in the glorious sunshine, we planted in carrot and turnip seeds. Our spinach is growing well. Next week we will ‘harden’ it off, then it will be ready for outdoor planting. Our potatoes are doing nicely, as are our strawberries. There are also chives growing in the raised bed.
We aren’t finished yet! We will shortly plant basil , cress and sunflower seeds to cultivate at home. Cress grows very quickly, and is delicious on a sandwich.
We have started on our drama Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. It’s in the very early stages of production and it should be lots of fun.
