May and June are always busy months in school. We are putting the final touches on some work and having great new experiences, before finishing for the year.
The girls have been learning to cycle with Donal and Olllie and have been improving each week and learning how to cycle safe.
We have been learning about procedural writing, following instructions in card games and writing about how we designed/made clay tic tac toe boards.
May and June are lovely times of the year because the girls have their school tour and sports day. Great fun was had at the Dunbrody, Wexford Heritage Park and especially on the inflatable slide on sports day. We were blessed with the weather on both days.
The girls have been presenting fantastic Teach the Teacher presentations. This is an opportunity for each child to share a skill, talent or area of interest with the class. We have enjoyed Afghani food, learnt clapping game and skipping games and how to speak Spanish and French. It is wonderful to see each girl share something about themselves in this way.
