For November Fourth Class have been working through a variety of cross curricular activities.
- In Science we learned about rocks , stones and gems. We studied famous buildings around the world in geography. Do you know The Taj Mahal in India is made from white marble and The Eiffel Tower in France is made from steel.
2. In Team Teaching we were learning about Homes and Houses. In Geography we also learned about famous castles around Ireland.
3. We enjoyed rainy day games. November brought our first big number of rainy days to school year 2025 – 2026. A big thank you to all the parents who paid the €25 year towards school supplies / art supplies at the start of the year. Good to see Lego is still a classic favourite among children.
4. . In Maths we were learning Fractions and Decimals. The girls make beautiful fraction walls to help them. Why not give your daughter the shopping receipt and ask her to call out the decimals on the receipt.
