The girls have been reading the story ‘Handa’s Surprise’. We learned about the different fruits and animals in the story. We tasted lots of the fruits and made a pictogram to show our favourite fruits. We also learned about Africa and created some African collar necklaces and weaved baskets inspired by Handa’s basket.
