I hope everyone is safe and warm at home and not missing school too much!
Here are some suggestions to keep you busy during this cold spell.
Continue on with Mental Maths: Wednesday, Thursday and the Friday Test.
English in Practice: do the next two exercises
Practise a paragraph of handwriting: choose a passage from your library book and copy a paragraph (about ten sentences) in your very best handwriting. I will have a prize for the best effort.
Don’t forget the Active School slogan…..you now have plenty of time to think of one, write it on an A4 page, and decorate around it.
Get the family involved in playing cards. Remember all the ones we have learned: Begger my Neighbour, 7s, Switch, highest /lowest score wins (when you turn up two cards) Evil Ace. Have fun!
And lastly , don’t forget your knitting. It would be great if everyone could be ready to start a chick next week, so you will have to finish anything that is on the needles at present.
Remember to go over all the prayers that we have already learned for First Communion
