Nuacht Rang a Trí
We were swimming in Kingfisher on Monday and will be swimming for the next 5 weeks.
We are very lucky and excited to be taking part in Peace Proms. We will be singing with choirs from lots of different schools and with a full orchestra. The school concert will take place in Kilkenny on the 4th of March. We have just received our songs and we are beginning to practice.
Art: Currently we are in the process of making our lighthouse scenes.
Ag caint Gaeilge: We are learning about ‘Mo theach’ agus ‘Sa Bhaile’
History Story: We are learning about the story of Cúculainn and learning how to retell it in your own words.
Maths: We are using our Maths eyes and identifying vertical, horizontal, parallel lines inside and outside the classroom and school building. We are also recognising right angles
English: Comprehension Strategy – ‘Questioning’

Irish: we are learning ‘Dán ar na ceisteanna’ and speaking about Mé Féin agus Mo Theaghlach.
English: we have been report writing and using the prediction strategy while reading.
History: Stone Age and Bronze Age.
Geography: Counties of Ireland and The Water Cycle.
Science: Skeleton & Muscles and My Beating Heart.
Art: Autumn Trees
Very excited about Mission week and currently working on our group posters for next Thursday.
