Wake Up Walk
Thank you and well done to everyone who joined our Wake Up Walk this morning. You helped to get Active School Week off to a great start. Between, pupils, Mams, Dads, staff and little brothers and sisters, there were more than 300 people getting active on our school Walkway this morning. Fingers crossed for fine weather again tomorrow.

Active School Week
Active School week begins on Monday 23rd April. The Active school Committee has planned lots of exciting activities for the week. The girls may wear their tracksuits everyday and we are all looking forward to being on the move!
Weather permitting, we will begin every day this week with a Wake Up Walk around our new Active School Walkway. Why not join us outside the front door just after nine o’clock each morning? Everyone who joins in will help us in our plan to walk from Ferrybank to Prague by the end of the week.
Remember our slogan: Run, skip, jump and play, let’s be active every day.
Well Done!
Well done to one of our past pupils, Rachel and her friends in Abbey C.C. As part of their Transition Year programme, they organised a very successful charity event to raise funds for Our lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin. We made a donation to the event on behalf of the school.
School will not be open for the children tomorrow, Wednesday 18th April. Staff members will attend a full day training session on the new Primary Language Curriculum.
Hola y Bienvenido
Senior Infants gave our visitor from Mexico a very warm welcome today. We hope that Sr Julia enjoyed her time in Ferrybank and we wish her a safe trip home again.

Term 3
Hello Everyone and welcome back to school for Term 3. It was wonderful to see all your lovely smiles this morning girls. We are looking forward to good weather and a term filled with hard work and lots of fun. Did you notice anything new in the school grounds today?
Remember: Run, skip, jump ad play, let’s be active every day.

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day
Our Intercultural Friendship Week closed today with our annual school St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The girls (and the staff) were all decked out in their national colours and costumes. Thank you very much to the residents of An Grianan, Madonna House and St. Joseph’s Care Home for making us so welcome. We hope that you enjoyed the colour and the singing.
We are very grateful to our Mams and Dads for providing such lovely outfits for the girls today – as always we appreciate your fantastic support.
Enjoy a wonderful weekend celebrating our national holiday and we will see you all at school again on Tuesday 20th, le cúnamh Dé.
Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig.
