Peace at Last

The girls recently enjoyed the story ‘Peace at Last.’ It is about a Daddy bear not being able to sleep because Mammy bear is snoring.

According to the girls, Mammy bear in the story is not the only one who snores!! ☺️

Ask your daughter to tell you what happens in the story!

The girls were discussing kindness and how we can be a good friend in S. P. H. E.

They came up with brilliant ideas of how we can show kindness and be a good friend. They might share some of these ideas with you if you ask!

      • Aistear – Houses and Homes. We discussed and looked at different types of homes and the different rooms we have in our homes. In the small world area we organised our toy house using suitable furniture and items for each room.

      • We enjoyed this story and we were very good to draw lovely owls this week.
      • In Aistear we have been learning about houses and homes.
      • We made the Three Little Pigs homes and discussed materials used to build different types of homes.
      • We discussed the story of Three Little Pigs and sequenced the events in the story using pictures.
      • We discussed rooms in a house and placed suitable furniture and items in different rooms.

            Happy Hallowe’en to all! The girls looked brilliant in their costumes today and enjoyed a lovely party! 🕸️👻🎃 Enjoy the midterm break!
