In Aistear we have been learning all about the Doctor’s Surgery. This is some of the language we have been learning and using through play.
The girls really enjoyed dressing up as the patients, nurses, doctors and receptionists.
We created doctor’s kits and white coats in Arts and Crafts.
We created the doctors and nurses utensils such as; stethoscopes, syringes, thermometers etc from playdough.
The small world group, built a hospital from Lego and played out different scenes with the ambulance and dolls.
We went on a nature walk around the school, and collected Autumn leaves. We made leaf rubbings with oil pastels and glued them on to our squirrels.
Look at the hedgehogs we made in SESE. We wrote down some interesting facts we learned about the hedgehog. We molded hedgehogs from clay in Art.
