It has been a lovely start to a new year in 4th class. The girls are settling in well and we are spending a lot of time this month getting to know each other, using interviews and fun games.
We have been learning about the elements of art, looking at colour and value, creating colour wheel eyes and disco balls.
We are enjoying our hands on Maths experiences in practicing place value, addition and subtraction.
Exciting news from our class this month is that we have been accepted into Peaceproms this year. As well as this, the girls in 4th have started learning to play chess. We are very lucky that Miss Hall can join us to support the girls in learning this game. We have focused on promoting respect and learning the fundamentals. We are looking forward to developing further as the year goes on.
