We made it! The girls are officially finished primary school and moving on to a new beginning. We had such a fantastic week and one that the girls will remember for ever more.
On Monday we went on our mystery tour to the Greenway. The girls had a blast playing ‘Heads up’ word/charade game. They sang their graduation songs and did some karaoke. They performed their Graduation dances and entertained passer-bys.
On Tuesday we had our end-of-year mass and attended church. Fr. Kieran said a lovely mass while the rest of the school joined in via webcam
On Wednesday and Thursday, there wasn’t a dry eye for our Graduation. It was very special and the girls had lots of happy and sad tears. But overall, the girls are finishing up with smiles on their faces.
The girls finished their scrapbooks which they started in Junior Infants. What a memory to have of their 8 years in Our Lady of Good Counsel.
The girls making their Confirmation finished their beautiful projects and will be looking forward to celebrating this sacrament on 28th August.
They also decorated their Publishing copies which holds their best work during English this year.
And finally, to finish off a busy week, the girls took some time out and had a nice relaxing facial!
Thanks to 6th class for a fantastic year and I will miss you but I’m also looking forward to hearing about your new adventure in Secondary school. Stay true to you, girls!
